Coast to Coast Adventures has been designing adventure holiday packages and vacations in Costa Rica for many years.  Meeting people and making new friends is guaranteed, whether you join one of our groups, Design Your Own, or choose an All Inclusive Luxury Adventure.  Our adventure holiday packages and vacations have a variety of activities ranging from, whitewater rafting on the Pacuare, Reventazón and Sarapiquí Rivers, mountain biking through coffee plantations and routes on many dirt roads, sea kayaking on Lake Arenal, Pacific and Caribbean coastlines, hiking and trekking both in the national parks and through remote areas and zip line adrenaline boosting traverses in the canopy.  Whitewater rafting the Pacuare River has the added advantage of an overnight stay at our camp in the heart of the rainforest – El Nido Del Tigre but all Design Your Own holiday packages and vacations can include this amazing experience.

If you choose to Design Your Own adventure for a Group or Family Vacation, or if it is your Wedding or Honeymoon, we invite you to work with our office to design your ideal holiday or vacations with the assistance of our experienced staff who can advise you on the best places to visit, transportation and the right accommodation for your budget.  Whether visiting volcanoes, beaches, mountains, or rivers on mountain bike, raft, kayak or sea kayak, the wealth of experience within Coast to Coast Adventures is at your disposal to organize your adventure holiday packages and vacations.

We will introduce you to Costa Rica on routes for mountain bike, whitewater raft, sea kayak, canopy or hiking in the most unusual ways. We pride ourselves on being one of the very few tour operators within Costa Rica that offer a complete solution with our own equipment and qualified guides.

Our Adventures are designed to suit clients of all ages and abilities. They are a unique and fun way to travel around this beautiful country and to best experience its people and diverse terrains.  We have adventure holiday packages and vacations from 1,2 and 3 days in our Just a Few Days section or a choice of multi-day, multi activity itineraries (detailed below).  If you really like the idea of one of our Adventure Trips but can only take time for part of the itinerary, our Short Adventures will allow you to join the trip for the dates that suit your vacation time. 

Every effort is made to keep our groups small and it is quite usual to find a mix of nationalities on any one departure date. Each of the trips is guided by experienced, bi-lingual guides.

Active:

Costa Rican Adventure - Adventure Trails - Adventures in Nature. No experience is necessary, just a healthy spirit of adventure. Rafting is on Class II-IV rapids, hikes of not more than 5 km and mountain biking of not more than 35 km. Accommodation is a variety of rustic mountain lodges camping and hotels.

Moderate:

Paddles and Pedals - Pacuare Adventure - Costa Rica / Panama Adventure. A greater degree of skill is required in the mountain biking sections and routes are on a variety of terrain and can be as much as 50 km in length. The rafting section is mostly on dirt roads.  A healthy spirit of adventure is essential.

Challenging:

The Coast to Coast Trip. The rafting section of the trip is on Class II-IV rapids. Sections of the Mountain Biking are on rugged terrain with some steep grades and routes can be as much as 60 km long. Hiking is in mountainous areas with some steep cimbs. Accommodation is a variety of camping and rustic refuges.  A healthy spirit of adventure is essential.
